Whistling Woods

This beautiful resort is located in a secluded place with lush greenery all around & near the forest area but it is also very close to the main road & market. Owner Mr. Hemant Ogale is a gem of a person, very humble, helpful & co-operative. He is a naturalist & has done lot of research on butterflies of the area. It was a pleasure to meet him. Cottages & rooms are very aesthetically designed & are spacious & well maintained. Food & breakfast was really good as it had taste of local flavor. Staff was also also respectful & cooperative. Myself & family enjoyed a lot & would like to visit again & recommend it to family & friends.

An excellent cabin stay at Amboli, above cloud cover in the Western Ghats. The cabins were spacious and well furnished, the meals were hearty and delicious local fare, and the trails and night treks led by an able guide were highlights of the stay.

Had a fantastic stay at whistling woods. The staff was kind enough to prepare all kinds of food despite it being in a remote location. We even had campfire for which we weren’t charged any amount. Highly recommend whistling woods for a relaxing stay.

We stayed for 2 days at Whistling Woods and had a great time. Service was very good and the owner himself checked in on us a couple of times. Freshly cooked breakfast and dinner which was delicious. Quiet retreat and good location ( only couple of kms from the Main waterfall and sunset point)

Perfect Nature Retreat! We had an amazing stay at Whistling Woods Amboli. The rooms were perfectly clean and neat, and the staff was very helpful throughout our visit. A special shout-out to our host, Hemant Sir, who made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The food was the highlight of the trip! The breakfast, prepared personally by the owner, was absolutely delicious, and the local Gharguti dinner was the best authentic meal we've had in a long time. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax in the core of nature, this is the spot to be. Highly recommended!Perfect Nature Retreat!
