Stayed for 3 nights at this fabulous place The location of this property is nothing short of STUNNING. Facing the Sea. the property is built with lot thought. Less of concrete and more of reused materials. The first floor library and sitting arrangement is something not seen often. Enjoyed excellent hospitality extended by the care takers. Food is lip smacking all the time . Snacks are provided in a timely fashion. The owner, Mr Sanjay Kirtane is a humble and caring person, he calls to find out about the stay. Meals in the veerandah is memorable. Everything works like clock work. The staff are well trained and accommodated our requests. Will highly recommend this place without hesitation. A big thanks to owner and the staff.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Verandah by the Sea in Malvan. The sea-facing ambiance is just magical — calm breeze, soothing waves, and that perfect coastal vibe. 🌊✨ The seafood was fresh and full of authentic Malvani flavors. Every dish felt homemade and soulful. The staff was warm, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. If you’re visiting Malvan, this place is a must for a peaceful to stay. The staff was courteous and attentive, making our stay experience smooth and enjoyable. A perfect place to unwind by the sea in Malvan. The Malvan Thali is so good that you would want to visit here again and again.

I just got back from a weekend at this hidden gem and I’m still buzzing! 🌊 If you’re hunting for a place that feels like a home‑away‑from‑home but with a million‑dollar sea view, this is it. Located on a cliff near Khavane, the villa offers uninterrupted Arabian Sea panoramas that make every sunrise feel cinematic. The nearest beach is only a 5‑minute drive or a breezy 20‑minute walk away, and the quiet village vibe adds a charming touch of Konkan life. Highly recommended – 5/5 stars!

Excellent stay was higlight of our long roadtrip, you can simply sit for hours staring at the sea in the nice cosy little villa. The villa has a old style made of wood, they offer 4 rooms , 2 on forst floor 2 on ground. View from the first floor is mesmerising. The hospitality was exceptional with great food. Visit just to enjoy the views and relax.

I visited this place in December 2025. Wonderful experience with couple of things I suggest them to implement. 1. There is no board for the property. I understand its a homestay however, the location and road to reach is too difficult. At least give a landmark while someone’s booking. 2. The grass/garden needs urgent maintenance; while the flora and fauna are luring and amazing, a trim wouldn’t hurt specially near the main gate. Other than these points, the stay is superb. Mahesh, one of the care takers is very courteous and helpful. They cook some amazing home style food. All in all lovely solitude and a great dwelling.

I haven’t had such a pleasant stay ever before. All three caretakers were extremely polite, cooperative, well-behaved and very well-spoken. Their warmth and hospitality truly made the experience special. The cooking was absolutely class apart. Every meal was delicious and exceeded all expectations. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better than this. Thank you Verandah by the Sea team for making our stay so memorable! You’ve earned a loyal customer in your list..

This is one of the best homestays you can stay at. You will be pampered throughout your visit. During our stay, the owner’s family was present and they were extremely warm and welcoming—at one point, it felt like we were meeting old friends. The support staff was equally courteous and attentive. You are in for a treat with authentic Malvani and Konkani cuisine, and if Soham (the junior owner) is around, you can look forward to some unique and delicious specialities like pineapple ice cream and Thai curry. I would definitely recommend this stay for its stunning ocean views, exceptional hospitality, and amazing food.
