It's kind of a homestay. Room sizes are funny. Two rooms in each house. In one room the toilet is outside. The owner told us that in the AC room you can accommodate 4-5 people but due to the shape of the room only 3 people can stay. Basic things were not available in the bathroom like Soap, towel, bucket etc. In short it is not good for the family.

Sun And Sea hotel offers a decent and conveniently located option for travelers visiting Ganpatipule, especially those looking to be close to KSB Water Park. The location is a definite plus – being near the water park is great for families, and it's also a relatively short drive (around 1.5 km) to the main Ganpatipule Beach and the famous Ganpati Temple. This makes it easy to explore the town's main attractions without much hassle. From what I gather, it's a good choice for those seeking a budget-friendly stay with easy access to the beach, temple, and the nearby water park. Just manage your expectations regarding lavish facilities, and you'll likely have a pleasant enough stay.

Please avoid booking this property through online platforms. The owner often rejects reservations after confirming via mobile and compels guests to cancel, citing that the online payment is non-refundable and the listed price is too low. Upon arrival, the owner typically demands additional payment in cash or via PhonePe. This results in a financial loss, as guests forfeit the online payment and must pay extra charges. Kindly note that cancellations are strictly non-refundable, leading to a total loss of the amount paid. Furthermore, the facilities are inadequate: no soap or towels are provided, pillow covers are torn, toilets and bathrooms are shared, and hot water is unavailable at the tap.

We had a very bad experience with Sun and Sea lodge, Ganpatipule. We had booked a room through a booking website, but when we arrived on the scheduled day, we were informed that our booking had been cancelled. When we contacted the lodge’s representative, there was no proper explanation, apology, or regret shown. This felt highly unprofessional. At the last moment, we were forced to search for alternative accommodation, which caused a lot of inconvenience.

Our experience was average, as the room was not clean at all there was hair on the bedsheet. The host also didn’t inform us about the breakfast details or the hot water time limit. However, the location was good.
