One of the best hotels in Tarkarli Devbag to stay. Everything is good. Clean and comfortable rooms. Amazing view from balcony. In house resto is available. Only downside is not a good veg food options.

We had a pleasant family stay here. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, especially for kids. The shared balcony was a highlight — offering beautiful sunrise views and a serene view of the Karli backwaters. The food was average. There are limited options, and you need to inform them a day in advance for meals. Nearby homestays offer better food choices. They also helped us connect with reliable water sports and boating teams, which made planning easier. Overall, a nice and peaceful stay with great views, ideal for families.

The rooms are old and poorly maintained, which is very evident. The boating packages are overpriced and significantly higher compared to similar options available nearby Restaurant service is slow. If you are vegetarian, this place is a big disappointment. Vegetarian guests are treated poorly, food is brought cold from elsewhere, and then served without care. There also seems to be malpractice regarding GST. They are not running a full-fledged restaurant and do not provide a proper GST invoice, yet GST is added to handwritten bills for home-cooked food.

I recently stayed at Sagar Sangam Hotel in Malvan and had a mixed experience. The rooms are genuinely good—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made the stay pleasant on that front. However, the food was extremely disappointing and overpriced. To give some context, the well-known Bamboo Hotel in Malvan serves a full Surmai thali for around ₹420, while Sagar Sangam charged ₹500 for just one small piece of Surmai fry. The quantity and value for money were nowhere close. Another issue I faced was with the room service staff—one staff member mistakenly knocked on my door at 6:45 AM, thinking it was another room. It wasn’t a major incident, but definitely disturbed the morning and showed a lack of coordination. Overall, while the rooms are good, the expensive and unsatisfactory food along with small service lapses make the stay less enjoyable. Not the best value for money in Malvan.

The menu shines with fresh catches from the Arabian Sea, prepared in classic Malvani style: bold kokum, coconut, and chili masalas that pack heat without overwhelming the seafood’s natural sweetness. We dove into the legendary fish thali—generous portions of fried bangda (mackerel), prawn curry, clams in green masala, unlimited solkadi (that tangy, cooling kokum drink), rice bhakri, and vegetable sides. Everything was impeccably fresh, spicy yet balanced, and served piping hot.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Saagar Sangam. The entire experience was pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were extremely clean, well-maintained, and beautifully arranged. The management was very attentive, and the staff provided prompt and friendly service throughout our stay. The food served was both healthy and delicious, making every meal enjoyable. The team also went above and beyond by helping us arrange commuting and guiding us for nearby water sports and activities, which made our trip even more memorable. Overall, Saagar Sangam offers excellent hospitality and great value. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable stay! 🌊✨

Located on the river bank in Devbag this property offer a superb view. Great place to rest, relax and wind down. Amazing value for money. Clean, Spacious room with good balcony views of the river. Nice backyard to walk, sit and relax. They also have a floating platform to sit, dine in as well as 1-2 cottages for stay. Food is amazing and freshly prepared on order (mind it takes 1hr+ from order placed so plan the timing and it's worth the wait). Bakri and malvani dishes, non veg thali etc are great. Lot of parking space which is great given the roads are very narrow and its impossible to do street parking in Devbag. Very friendly staff and owners running the property. The initial room had slight drainage block smell and the moment we told them, they changed the room for us. Explained the konkani dishes so patiently to us. Lot of beach and river sports activities available.
