*1/5 stars - Avoid La Casa Royale at all costs!* I'm still fuming after our disastrous stay at _LA CASA ROYALE ON 29TH OCTOBER 2025_. Our family was the only guest at the entire resort, and it was clear that the staff was completely unprepared. *No Staff, No Service*: The resort was ghostly empty, with no one to attend to our needs. No running hot water, filthy toilets that were an absolute nightmare, and no security guard at night. When we asked for toilet paper, we were left with nothing. *Breakfast Disaster*: We were promised a delicious breakfast with 4-5 dishes, but what we got was a measly spread of poha and upma. When we asked for amboli, they just shrugged it off. *Room Chaos*: The air conditioner was non-functional, and the fan was blasting at full speed with no regulator to adjust it. The bed was worn out, and the sheets were dirty and torn. *Water Woes*: The water flow was ridiculously slow, making it a chore to fill a bucket, and the shower didn't even work. Cold water trickled out at a snail's pace – a frustrating experience. *Power Fluctuations*: The generator took ages to kick in, and the electricity fluctuated throughout the day. *Food Quality*: The food was subpar, to say the least. It was like they were serving leftovers. *No Mosquito Repellent*: No measures were taken to prevent mosquito infestations, which was a huge concern. *Unreliable WiFi*: The WiFi speed was painfully slow and kept disconnecting, making it impossible to stay connected. *Failed Amenities*: They promised amenities, but none of them were delivered. Complete disappointment. Overall, our experience at La Casa Royale was a complete and utter disaster. We were promised the world and delivered nothing but disappointment. Save your money and avoid this dump at all costs.

If you’re looking for a real review of this hotel, here it is. First, the approach road is an absolute nightmare. It’s an insanely narrow two-way street that causes massive traffic jams. You’ll spend ages stuck in traffic, praying your car doesn’t get scratched as trucks and other vehicles try to navigate through the tight space. It’s a stressful and frustrating experience from the moment you arrive. The food situation is downright awful. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, so you’re forced to order food at least 1.5 hours in advance. We arrived around 7:30 pm, and after settling in, we asked for food at 8:30 pm. They told us it would take at least 1.5 hours to prepare. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there’s no signal in the area, and the hotel claims to offer Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all. When we asked about it, they gave the pathetic excuse of an issue with the Internet Service Provider. That should NEVER be an issue for paying guests, especially when you’re shelling out ₹10,000 per night. The amenities are subpar at best. There was no toilet paper, no hand wash, and the shower curtain was broken. The swimming pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, with grime all over the bottom. And don’t even get me started on the mosquitoes. They were everywhere, making the entire stay miserable. The only positive aspect of our stay was Sumit at the reception. He was the one bright spot, trying his best to make us feel welcome in an otherwise disappointing situation. Honestly, avoid this hotel if you can. It’s a complete waste of money and will ruin your experience.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel La Casa Royal, Devbagh Malvan. The service was excellent, and the authentic fish food was fresh and very tasty. A special mention to Mr. Sumit, the host, who is extremely supportive, polite, and always ready to help. The rooms are spacious, neat, and well-maintained, with clean bedsheets, comfortable bedding, proper lighting, and good ventilation. Housekeeping is done regularly, and the washrooms are clean and hygienic with a continuous water supply. The rooms provide a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere for a relaxing stay. The swimming pool is clean and well-kept, and parking space is available, which adds to the convenience. Overall, it is a perfect place to stay in Devbagh Malvan, especially for families. Highly recommended!
