Hotel Dona Dawli & Taraai Rest House

Good restaurant but there is no lift available in hotel. It is somewhat difficult for senior citizens.

My requirement was for early morning 4am checkin, and they made arrangement as per requirement. Rooms were neat and tidy. Service was also good. Breakfast items are limited and tasty. Wifi available.

Review for the restaurant when not staying as a guest. Ordered 4 misal pavs. Didn't even have the courtesy to heat the misal's gravy before serving. Upon asking to heat, neglected, after persuasion gave little hot gravy which lasted 2 minutes. Super small pav.

One can expect excellent, well aired, and clean maintained rooms here. Each piece of furniture is clean, and even the bedspread (cover) and mattress are good. Piping hot water in the taps and clean washrooms. It is very conveniently located, and the food is clean and wholesome. Just the right amount of spice and masala. Preparation of food starts once the order is given, and they do not serve something prepared earlier in the day. We tried the veg lunch and veg breakfast, but I saw many other patrons happily tucking into fish thali and chicken thali, for which the place is very famous. Good piece of fish and a good quantity of rice on each plate. Our jeera rice and dal tadka were bang on perfect, and the potato bhaji had the right amount of spice. Since the food always comes to the table piping hot, it is a pleasure to eat. The chinese option has been done away with, so please note that only regular food (Maharashtrian/ Malvani) is available. But there are lots of varieties. The price is very reasonable, and they take care to ask if you want a full plate or half plate of rice. The owner is a sweet person and very kind. He is running a tight ship. Kudos to him. Will happily recommend this place for a short visit or an overnight stay.

Easy to locate the restaurant with car parking. Food is good both veg and seafood thali

This hotel has good location and parking is available. Overall good hotel in this location. Rooms were clean. Super deluxe room is good but standard is very average compared to room cost. Food was good. Staff was very kind. Overall good experience.
