Amazing Stay & Delicious Konkan Food – Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Nimkar’s Konkan Nest. The overall stay was extremely comfortable, peaceful, and well maintained. The rooms were neat and clean, and the entire place has a positive and homely vibe which makes you feel relaxed instantly. The food was the highlight of the trip — authentic Konkan style, freshly cooked, hygienic, and full of taste. Every meal felt like homemade, with perfect spices and traditional Konkan flavours. The quality and serving were excellent, and it felt like a proper Konkan treat. What makes this place even more special is the guidance and support provided. Sushil sir are very helpful and guide you properly about nearby places, routes, local attractions, and what to explore. Their nature is polite, caring, and truly welcoming. Overall, Konkan Nest is perfect for family stays, peaceful vacations, and food lovers. I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Konkan. Definitely worth it and I would love to visit again!

We had a truly lovely stay at Dr. Nimkar’s Kokan Nest. The place is nestled in nature and feels absolutely soul-soothing from the moment you arrive. The ambience is beautifully rustic, with authentic Chira stone construction and architecture inspired by a traditional Kokan wada, which gives the property a timeless Konkan charm. What really stood out was the attention to traditional details — even the cow-dung flooring, which adds to the earthy, natural feel and keeps the space cool and serene. It feels less like a hotel and more like stepping into a thoughtfully preserved Konkan home. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of local flavors — clearly made with care. The staff were extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming, making the entire experience even more special. Wow Wow….what a hidden gem is this Resort. Everything from our arrival to departure was very smooth. First booked for only one day but then I extended my stay. From beginning the receptionist girl who attended us was very polite and generous, as we reached little early from checkin time and we traveled from Mumbai so she understood our situation and provided us one room to rest and refreshen up. As we reached early so we had our breakfast there and we realized that taste and quality of food is very very good, so asked them to cook our lunch and dinner. Believe me that was the best thing for our whole trip, I never had that kind of food in a hotel or resort, so authentic so pure no too much masala or fancy stuff just pure taste. Service was top noch as we were traveling with two young kids, so they took care of their needs and requirements too. Rooms are so spacious and different in each manner with other hotels, as their flooring was done with Mud, red stone used for construction and old style furniture. Atmosphere wise very quiet and relaxing, you can easily heard birds chirping. Overall it was seriously amazing and cherry on the top is their pricing, it’s very reasonable for rooms and foods too. Every meal feels like ghar ka khana – simple, fresh and full of authentic flavour, without excess oil, colour or heavy masalas. From soft, hot phulkas and perfectly cooked vegetables to comforting dal-chawal and seasonal specials, each dish tastes like it has been prepared in a family kitchen with care and patience. The hosts and staff are warm, polite and genuinely attentive, always checking if you are comfortable and happy with your meals, yet never intrusive. They are flexible with timings whenever possible and open to small customisations, which makes the stay even more personal. If you are looking for a peaceful break with traditional Indian interiors, relaxing floor and swing seating, and truly homely food, this hotel is a delightful find and highly recommended for a slow, soulful stay.

Kokan Nest Homestay is a perfect place to relax and feel close to nature. Surrounded by lush greenery, the place is clean, peaceful, and very well maintained. The hotel staff (mr sushit )are warm, caring, and make you feel completely at home. The food is delicious, homely, and truly authentic Konkani style. Our stay at Dr. Nimkar’s Konkan Nest Resort was truly memorable and deeply refreshing. The property is beautifully surrounded by greenery and gives the feel of a traditional Konkan wada despite being only about 13 years old. Built using natural laterite (chira) stone, the two-storey structure has an authentic old-world charm. The central courtyard with a Tulsi Vrindavan creates a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere, with all rooms thoughtfully arranged around it. The property is well planned with ample parking space, which makes arrival and stay very convenient. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here, and the dinner was equally delicious. Special appreciation goes to Sushil, Sai and Sangeeta, who took excellent care of our dining arrangements and provided warm, attentive service throughout. A lovely small river flows behind the property, adding to its calm and natural setting. Walking on the traditional cow-dung finished floor was a unique and nostalgic experience that connected us to Konkan’s rural heritage. The entire staff is extremely polite, efficient and always ready to help. Service is quick, smooth and genuinely hospitable. Overall, this resort offers a perfect blend of nature, heritage, comfort and heartfelt service. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay in Ganpatipule.
